Christine is selected for the inaugural IAAF World Relay Championships

Christine Ohuruogu, the world 400 metres champion, and Richard Kilty, who won 60m gold at the World Indoor Championships in March, will head a 24-strong British team at this month’s inaugural World Relays in the Bahamas.

Britain will contest the men’s and women’s 4x100m and 4x400m at the event in Nassau on May 24-25, where a top-eight finish guarantees a place in next year’s World Championships in Beijing.

Ohuruogu will be joined by her younger sister, Victoria, in the 4x400m squad along with world 400m hurdles finalist Eilidh Child, Margaret Adeoye, Shana Cox and Emily Diamond.
